  • First, preheat the oven to 160 degrees.
  • Next, prepare the apricots – clean them, wash them and cut them in half.

  • Gradually add the other ingredients slowly.
  • Pour the finished batter into the pre-prepared, greased cake pan.
  • Stack the apricot halves on top of the dough and cover the entire cake with the flour, sugar and butter crumbs.
  • Place in the oven and bake until the crumb begins to turn golden.

  • 100 grams of semi-coarse flour
  • 200 grams of granulated sugar
  • 100 grams of Solamyl
  • 5 egg yolks
  • 5 egg whites

Cake with apricots and cottage cheese

Anyone who doesn’t mind slightly more complicated recipes should definitely try this recipe with sour cream. Definitely worth it! Apricot cakes are a popular dessert, but if you want to try something else, get inspired by recipes for delicious sweet dishes with apricots .

You will need:


  • 1 ⅓ cup almond flour
  • 3 tablespoons of brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons of sliced almonds

Apricot Filling:

  • 250 grams of dried apricots
  • 2 tablespoons of Amaretto liqueur
  • 1 teaspoon of granulated sugar
  • 250 grams of soft cottage cheese
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • water
  • 1 cup of sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons of cornstarch
  • 1 ½ teaspoons of vanilla extract
  • 3 eggs

Sour cream cream:

  • 1 ½ cups of sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons of powdered sugar

Preparation process:

  • First of all, preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  • Mix the almond flour, brown sugar and almonds in a bowl.
  • Add the melted butter and mix the whole mixture with a fork.
  • Prepare a cake tin and line it with baking paper.
  • Press this mixture into the mold – you can help with your hands.
  • Next, start preparing the apricot cream.
  • Put the dried apricots in a pot, cover with a little water.
  • Bring the apricots to a boil and then cook until soft – about 10 minutes.
  • Then add Amaretto to them and sweeten with a teaspoon of sugar.
  • Beat cottage cheese, sugar, sour cream, cornstarch and vanilla essence.
  • Gradually start adding the eggs to the beaten mixture.
  • Once the cream is whipped, add two tablespoons of the apricot mixture to it – it must be cold.
  • Place the prepared cake in the oven for 45 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, put the remaining ingredients for the sour cream in a bowl – sugar, sour cream and vanilla extract.
  • Once the baking time is up, take the cake out of the oven and spread this cream on it.
  • Bake the cake for another 8 minutes.
  • After baking, let the cake cool and finally spread the remaining dried apricot mixture on top.
  • Place the cake in the refrigerator for 6 hours before serving.

Yeasted apricot cake differently

Let yourself be inspired by the recipe for a great apricot cake, which is quite different from the classic one.

You will need:

  • 2 teaspoons of dry yeast
  • ⅛ cup of warm water
  • 165 grams of softened butter
  • ⅓ cup plain flour
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 egg whites
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • ¾ cup finely chopped walnuts or almonds
  • ½ cup of sugar
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup apricot jam or fresh apricot puree
  • ¼ teaspoon of tartaric acid – you can buy it in healthy food

Preparation process:

  • Dissolve the yeast in ¼ cup warm water and set aside.
  • Prepare a cake pan – line it with baking paper.
  • Beat the flour with the butter, add the egg yolks, sour cream and finally the yeast.
  • Mix everything thoroughly – let the dough rise under a towel for at least 20 minutes.
  • Divide the dough into 3 equal parts.
  • Put the first part of the dough into the cake pan.
  • Mix the chopped nuts, sugar and cinnamon in a bowl – pour the mixture over the dough in the mold.
  • Roll out the second part of the dough to cover the first part.
  • Spread the second part of the dough in the mold with apricot jam or apricot puree.
  • Place in the oven and bake for about 45-50 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees.
  • Just before the cake is ready, beat the egg whites – add the tartar and gradually beat in the icing sugar – according to taste.
  • Apply the solid snow on the cake, sprinkle with the remaining nuts and put in the oven – the snow should slowly turn golden.

Classic sourdough cake with apricots

You will need:


  • 300 grams of plain flour
  • 60 grams of granulated sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 25 grams of yeast
  • 150 milliliters of lukewarm milk
  • 1 egg
  • 80 grams of butter
  • pinch of salt
  • apricots

  • 20 grams of coarse flour
  • 20 grams of butter
  • 20 grams of granulated sugar

Preparation process:

  • Sift the flour, make a well and crumble the yeast into it.
