  • 1 kg of potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 250 g of portobello mushrooms
  • 1 and 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella
  • 170 g grated cheddar
  • 500 ml whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • a teaspoon of crushed thyme
  • salt and freshly ground pepper


  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix both creams, mayonnaise, crushed garlic, salt and pepper.
  3. Cut the potatoes and mushrooms into thin slices.
  4. Pour some of the cream mixture into the bottom of the baking dish and place half of the potatoes on top.
  5. Place half the mushrooms, half the mozzarella and cheddar on top of the potatoes.
  6. Salt, pepper and sprinkle with thyme.
  7. Assemble another layer from the other half of the ingredients in the same way.
  8. Then cover the whole thing with the cream mixture.
  9. Bake for 60-70 minutes until the potatoes are tender.

Baked potatoes with cauliflower

This dish is very simple, creamy, with lots of cheese and is suitable either as a separate dish or as a perfect accompaniment to meat.


  • Cauliflower weighing approx. 700 g, cut into small florets
  • 500 g potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 4 tablespoons of butter
  • 2 tablespoons plain flour
  • 1 and ½ cups of warm milk
  • ½ cup grated Gruyere cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan
  • ¼ teaspoon grated nutmeg
  • 1/3 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 and ¼ teaspoons of salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper


  1. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius.
  2. Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
  3. Add 1 teaspoon salt, cauliflower florets and potatoes and cook over medium heat for 7 minutes.
  4. Drain.
  5. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter, add the flour and mix.
  6. Stirring constantly, add the warm milk and stir until the sauce thickens.
  7. Remove the pan from the stove.
  8. Add remaining ¼ teaspoon salt, pepper, ¼ cup Gruyere cheese, Parmesan, and nutmeg.
  9. Taste and add more salt if needed.
  10. Transfer the cauliflower and potatoes to a 20 x 28 cm baking dish.
  11. Pour over the sauce and gently toss to combine the ingredients.
  12. Sprinkle panko with breadcrumbs and remaining ¼ cup Gruyere and drizzle with 2 tablespoons melted butter.
  13. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  14. For the last 2-3 minutes, turn on the grill function so that the top part becomes nicely golden.
  15. Serve immediately.

Baked potatoes with sausage

Potatoes with sausage is a favorite dish of many people, so don’t forget to try it yourself! Cheddar gives the dish a delicious taste.


  • 500 g of your favorite sausage
  • 4 large potatoes, cut into 1 cm cubes
  • 2 spoons of finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of dried garlic
  • 1 teaspoon ground paprika
  • 3 spoons of ground oil
  • 1 cup grated cheddar
  • 1 teaspoon of olive oil for greasing the foil


  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  2. Line a tray or baking dish with foil and brush with a little olive oil.
  3. Cut the sausage into 0.5 cm rounds.
  4. In a large bowl, mix the sausage, diced potatoes, salt, olive oil and dried garlic.
  5. Mix well to coat all ingredients with oil.
  6. Transfer the mixture from the bowl and spread it on a foil-lined baking sheet and sprinkle with paprika.
  7. Bake for 30-40 minutes and after 15 minutes, stir the potatoes so that they are well cooked and golden as much as possible.

  • 4 chicken breasts with skin
  • 8 small or 4 medium potatoes (peeled)

  • 2-3 sprigs of thyme
  • 1 tablespoon fresh, finely chopped rosemary

  • 2 pressed garlic cloves
  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C.
  2. Bring lightly salted water to a boil in a pot.
  3. Put the peeled whole potatoes in it and let it boil for about 8 minutes.
  4. Then drain the water and let the potatoes cool a little.

  • 6 potatoes, peeled, cut into 0.6 cm round slices

  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 500 g of ground beef

  • 2 tablespoons of tomato puree

  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups of milk


  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C.

  4. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and add the onion; sauté for 2 minutes.

  18. Mix the eggs and milk in a bowl and pour them evenly over the top layer of cheese.
  19. Sprinkle with paprika and bake for 35-40 minutes.
  20. Take the baked potatoes and broccoli out of the oven, let them rest for 10 minutes and serve them sprinkled with fresh basil.

  • 1.5 kg of potatoes
  • 160 ml of milk
  • 185 ml whipping cream
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
