Method
- Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- Rinse and dry the Brussels sprouts. Cut off the stems and remove any yellow leaves, cut them in half lengthwise.
- Place Brussels sprouts in a bowl.
- Toss it with olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper and bacon until coated.
- Place the Brussels sprouts on a greased baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and soft.
- Just before serving, sprinkle the Brussels sprouts with Parmesan and toss.

Baked Brussels sprouts with chicken
A recipe for easy roasted chicken with Brussels sprouts that is full of flavor with garlic, lemon, Dijon marinade and crispy bacon. A quick dinner that will please your whole family!
What will we need
- 6 boneless and skinless chicken thighs
- a handful of chopped fresh parsley
- 2 chopped garlic cloves
- a teaspoon of Dijon mustard
- a teaspoon of onion powder
- 30 ml of olive oil
- 15 ml of fresh lemon juice
- salt
- black pepper
- 6 strips of bacon (chopped)
- 270 g Brussels sprouts (cut in half)
Method
- Add chicken and all ingredients (except bacon and Brussels sprouts) to a large glass bowl and mix well.
- Cover the bowl with cling film and put the chicken in the fridge to marinate for 30 minutes (minimum) or overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
- Add chicken and Brussels sprouts to a large skillet or baking sheet.
- Bake for about 35-40 minutes until the chicken is cooked through
- While the chicken is in the oven, fry the bacon in a pan, or until it’s nice and crispy.
- Once the chicken and Brussels sprouts are done, remove from the oven and serve with the chopped bacon.

Sweet chili ground beef baked with Brussels sprouts
If you’re a fan of quick and easy meals, you’ll love this pan full of ground beef and Brussels sprouts. You will only need 4 ingredients and about 20-25 minutes!
What will we need
- 500 g of ground beef
- 400 g Brussels sprouts (halved)
- 1 tablespoon chili oil
- 1 teaspoon of ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon of chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 120 g of sweet chili sauce
What will we need
- Cut the cabbage in half.
- Mix the dry spices together and sprinkle over the ground beef.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat with the chili oil.
- Once the oil is hot, place the ground beef in the pan, seasoned side down. Sprinkle the remaining half of the spices on top of the beef.
- Cook until the meat is cooked.
- Place the cooked beef to the side of the pan and add the brussels sprouts cut side down to the pan.
- Cook for 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from the heat and mix in the Brussels sprouts and ground beef.
- Drizzle the sweet chili sauce over the top and stir.
- Serve with rice or cauliflower rice, chopped spring onion, toasted sesame seeds.

Method
- Preheat the oven to 190°C.
- Fry the bacon in a large pan suitable for the oven until crispy.
- Melt the butter in the same pan, add the Brussels sprouts and season with salt and pepper.
- Cook, stirring occasionally, for about 6 minutes. The edges should start to crisp and burn slightly.
- Add the garlic and stir until fragrant.
- Pour in the cream, reduce the heat to minimum and let them cook until soft, another 3-4 minutes.
- If the cream is too thin for your liking, add the cornstarch slurry and immediately mix until combined.
- Add the bacon and mix well to combine all the flavors.
- Add the mozzarella and parmesan cheese and place in the oven.
- Bake until the cheese is bubbling and the kale is done to your liking, about 15 minutes.
