How to use bananas in the kitchen?

They seem to be green one day and brown and mushy the next. Do not worry! There is a way to cook them at almost every stage.

How to bake with bananas

To bake the bananas, preheat the oven to 120°C. Then place four to six unpeeled, ripe bananas on a lined baking sheet. Pierce each banana a few times on all sides with a fork, then bake for 20 to 25 minutes. Remove the bananas when the skin turns black and shiny. Let it cool and then separate the skins and hollow out the fried banana. Use in oat pancakes with baked bananas mixed into the batter.

How to saute bananas

Simply peel and cut slightly unripe bananas either lengthwise in half or into thick rounds. Next, in a medium pan, melt 2 to 3 tablespoons of butter with 60 g of brown sugar and 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon. Cook over medium-low heat until the mixture bubbles and thickens. Then add the sliced bananas and gently coat them with the caramel sauce. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes until the bananas are soft.

How to cook bananas

Bananas can be used to make a powerful sleeping tonic. Research shows that magnesium-rich bananas can help you sleep better. To make a cup of banana tea, bring a pot of water to a boil. Then, leaving the skin intact, cut off both ends of the banana and carefully place it in the boiling water. Let the banana steep for about 10 minutes and then strain the tea through a strainer into a mug. Drink at least 60 minutes before bedtime.
