The Black and White Peppermint Bars have a yummy sugar cookie crust drizzled with white chocolate chips,  a moist fudgy brownie layer, and a splash of refreshing peppermint to top it all off, taking rich delicious decadence to a whole new level this holiday season.   Black an White Peppermint Bars - Do You Bake? For the Sugar Cookie Layer
  1. Prepare Do You Bake? Sugar Cookie Mix, as directed on the back of the box.
  2. Press Sugar Cookie dough down firmly, and evenly into a lightly greased foil (or parchment) lined 9x13 pan.
  3. Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes
For the Brownie Layer
  1. Prepare Do You Bake? Gourmet Brownie's mix as directed on the back of the box
  2. Stir mint extract into the mix
  3. Stir in semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)
Remove sugar cookie layer from refrigerator and spread brownie layer on top. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 - 40 minutes, until toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely and remove your black and white peppermint bars from the pan by lifting the parchment or foil onto a cutting board or other work surface. Melt white chocolate chips (optional) and drizzle on top. Sprinkle with crushed mints and allow white chocolate to harden. Slice into 36 holiday ready squares
