Why include cabbage in your diet?

Cabbage, also known as brussels sprouts, contains a large number of health-promoting substances. In terms of vitamins, it is especially rich in vitamin C, E, K and group B vitamins. Of the minerals, it contains a large amount of potassium, magnesium, calcium, phosphorus and iron. In general, there are three types of cabbage, head cabbage, Brussels sprouts and curly cabbage.

The advantage of cabbage is that it can be prepared in many ways, for example stewed, baked or fried. It can also be used in salads, but it must be lightly boiled before consumption. By the way, we already meet cabbage in our menu in records from the Middle Ages.
