Cabbage meatballs without meat
We can also call them sweet potato-cabbage meatballs. Among other things, the recipe includes quinoa and is completely gluten-free.
INGREDIENTS:
- ½ cup finely chopped cabbage
- 2 sweet potatoes
- 1 cup quinoa
- 1 teaspoon of thyme
- 3 cloves of garlic
- pepper
- salt
- olive oil
METHOD:
- Bake the sweet potatoes in their skins in the oven for about 40 minutes.
- Cook the quinoa according to the instructions on the package.
- Mash the baked sweet potatoes, add cooked quinoa, thyme, cabbage, pressed garlic, salt and pepper.
- Mix the dough and form meatballs.
- Then fry them in hot oil until golden on both sides.

Cabbage patties with cheese
You can easily grill these great meatballs with cabbage at a barbecue party and surprise your family and friends.
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 cups of cooked cauliflower
- 1 cup cooked quinoa
- ½ cup shredded cabbage
- ½ cup grated zucchini
- ½ cup corn
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 eggs
- ½ -1 cup breadcrumbs
- ¼ -½ cup grated cheese
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 and ½ teaspoons steak seasoning
- coconut (or other) oil for frying
METHOD:
- Coarsely grate the zucchini, including the skin.
- Salt it and let it sweat.
- For now, mash the cauliflower, add the corn to it.
- Wrap the zucchini in a tea towel and squeeze out the excess juice.
- Add it to the cauliflower and corn.
- Then add the cabbage, quinoa, pressed garlic, cheese, salt, pepper, steak seasoning, breadcrumbs and eggs.
- Mix everything thoroughly and make patties.
- Fry on both sides until golden.

- 500 g pork shoulder
- 500 g of cabbage
- 2 eggs
- 2 and ½ rolls

METHOD:
- Thinly slice the cabbage and let it boil for a while in hot salted water.

- Mix everything together, shape into patties and cover in breadcrumbs.

Cabbage pancakes with bacon
This recipe for cabbage meatballs is also worth talking about. Bacon gives them an even more pronounced taste.
INGREDIENTS:
- 600 g of cabbage
- 2 eggs
- 2-3 spoons of milk
- 2 buns (rolls)

- ½ large cabbage
- ¼ onion
- 2 eggs
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 steamer
- breadcrumbs

METHOD:
- Cut the cabbage into portions and cook in salted water.
- Then let it cool and chop finely.
- You can also use stiffer structures that you simply mix with a hand blender.
- Add finely chopped onion, pressed garlic, egg, spices, salt and parenica cut into small cubes.
- Mix everything and form patties, which are then covered in breadcrumbs.
- Place on a tray lined with baking paper, brush with oil and bake at 200°C for about 15 minutes on each side.

Grandma’s meatballs with cabbage and oatmeal

INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cabbage
- 2 eggs
- 200 g of ham salami
- 3 triangles of processed cheese
- oatmeal
- 3 cloves of garlic
- breadcrumbs
- salt
- pepper
- vegetable
- frying oil
METHOD:
- Cut the cabbage into portions and cook until semi-soft in boiling salted water.
- Let it drain thoroughly, then finely chop it, add eggs, diced salami, crumbled cheese, pressed garlic, spices, salt and oatmeal.
- Let the mixture sit for 20 minutes to soften the flakes.
- Then shape meatballs, coat in breadcrumbs and fry on both sides in hot oil.

Meatballs with cabbage can be combined with different types of vegetables, but also with meat or cheese. As you can see, we won’t even need flour to hold the dough together. It is enough to use breadcrumbs, often until the end, so that they are beautifully crunchy.
If you want to experiment, you can also use almond flour, which is gluten-free. You can also try crushed cornflakes for coating.
Cabbage is rich in B vitamins, but it is also a source of vitamins C, E, K and important minerals. It helps with beautiful skin and supports the formation of red blood cells.
If you want to avoid frying, it is ideal to choose preparation in the oven. A hot air fryer is also very useful, so if you have one at home, be sure to use it.
