How to properly prepare caramel?

Did your first attempts fail? Every time your caramel got so hard that it was like a rock?

If you don’t want to throw another caramel in the trash, read the following instructions carefully.

Caramel is an irreplaceable component of a whole range of confectionery products.

It is produced by gradual heating to approximately 170 °C.

Be careful when making the caramel as it tends to splatter. It is ideal to wear a t-shirt with long sleeves.

You will need 500 grams of granulated sugar and 120 grams of butter to prepare the caramel. Put the sugar and butter in a saucepan with a thicker bottom, but stir the mixture constantly so that it does not burn. As soon as lumps start to appear, lower the flame and keep stirring the caramel until the lumps dissolve.

After reaching the appropriate consistency, stop the heat process and let the caramel cool. The thermal process can also be stopped by adding butter to the mixture immediately after cooking, and this will achieve a soft caramel.

So prepare homemade Christmas cookies. Caramel tubes, rolls, as well as dimpled cakes will appeal to all members of the household.
