  • 1 iceberg lettuce
  • 1 celery
  • 2 red onions
  • 250 g of cherry tomatoes
  • 300 g of frozen peas
  • 4 hard-boiled eggs
  • 150 g of cheddar
  • 200 g of English bacon
  • 8 tablespoons of mayonnaise


  • Cut the bacon into small strips and fry it in a pan until crispy
  • Grate the cheese on a coarse grater
  • Cut the eggs into rounds
  • Put the peas in a bowl, cover with hot water and strain after a few minutes
  • Cut the onion into strips, the tomatoes in half, the celery into cubes, the salad into small pieces
  • Layer the iceberg lettuce, celery, tomatoes, red onion, eggs and peas in a large bowl.
  • Spread mayonnaise on top, cover with cheese and bacon

French celery salad with mayonnaise

  • 4 tablespoons of mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 bulb of celery
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons chopped capers
  • 2 pickles


  • Mix mayonnaise, lemon juice, mustard and salt well
  • Grate the celery on a coarse grater, cut the cucumbers into slices
  • Mix celery, capers and cucumbers in a bowl, add mayonnaise dressing and garnish with fresh parsley

  • 1 beetroot

  • juice of half a lemon

  • 5 stalks of celery stalks

  • 1 small bulb of celery
