Surprisingly, the secret of this recipe does not lie in beer, but in the addition of baking soda or baking powder, thanks to which the dough will be wonderfully fluffy.
Ingredients
- 400 g of chicken breast
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup of beer
- 4 tablespoons plain flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda or baking powder
- frying oil
- salt pepper
Method
- In a bowl, beat the eggs with a fork and add the beer, flour, baking soda, salt and pepper.
- Mix everything thoroughly to form a dough.
- Cover the bowl with the dough and let it rest at room temperature.
- In the meantime, cut the chicken into smaller pieces and marinate them in the batter for approximately 30 minutes.
- Next, heat the oil in a pan and carefully place the chicken in it.
- Fry the radishes on each side for a few minutes until golden.
- After frying, drain them on a paper towel to absorb the excess oil.
Beer-battered chicken patties can be served, for example, with fries and barbacue or tartar sauce.

Tomatoes in cheese dough
Try the version made special with cheese! Eidam, Gouda and Parmesan are suitable! You will just have to be more careful when frying so that the cheese does not stick too much to the pan.
Ingredients
- 400 g of chicken (breast or thigh steaks)
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup of beer
- 2 tablespoons of mustard
- 100 g of hard cheese
- 1 tbsp of cornstarch or solamyl
- 2 tablespoons plain flour
- frying oil
- salt pepper
Method
- Make a dough from beer, eggs, flour, solamyl, mustard and finely grated cheese.
- Cut the chicken into pieces, put it in a bowl with the batter and let it rest for 2-3 hours.
- Heat the oil in a pan and fry the chicken pieces in it until golden on each side.
- Use a paper towel to absorb the excess oil from the radishes.
Serve with mashed potatoes or mashed potatoes and a vegetable salad.

- Mix the flour, starch, mustard, soy sauce and spices in a bowl to form a dough.
- Put the chicken meat cut into smaller pieces or strips into the dough and let it sit for at least 2 hours.
- Then heat the oil in a pan and fry the meat in it for a few minutes on each side.
- After removing, use paper towels to absorb excess oil.

A few practical tips and advice at the end
Do you prefer a healthier variant of heat treatment over frying? No problem! Rarášky can also be prepared very simply in the oven. Just put the meat wrapped in batter on a baking sheet and bake in an oven preheated to 180°C until golden brown.
It is advisable to turn the meat during baking, approximately after 5-7 minutes. Also, don’t be afraid to make recipes for chicken nuggets special by adding some new ingredient, such as spices.
