Rice as a rich source of carbohydrates

As it is a good source of carbohydrates, it is especially popular with people involved in fitness and bodybuilders. Rice contains very low levels of cholesterol and sodium.

This supplement or raw material is a source of many life-beneficial substances such as manganese, iron and selenium. Also phosphorus, zinc, calcium and copper. However, it also contains several types of vitamins, such as vitamin B and vitamin E. A large amount of glucan has a very positive effect on the immune system.

The advantage is that you can buy rice at a relatively low price and it can be stored well. It can be prepared in several different ways. Another great advantage is that, as already mentioned, it strengthens the immune system and helps in getting rid of toxins. It also affects the health of the skin, improves digestion, stabilizes the blood sugar content and is also beneficial for weight loss.

Before you buy rice, it is advisable to know which rice is suitable for what. The grain shapes are round, short and long. Round grain contains more starch and is more sticky after cooking – so it is suitable for puddings, milk porridges, sushi, etc. Try one of the recipes for sweet rice.

Long grain is excellent in risotto, as a side dish or as a separate dish. Try one of the rice recipes as a side dish.
