Method
- Mix flour with baking powder in a bowl.

- If the dough is thicker, we can add an adequate amount of milk or water.

- We continuously check with a skewer whether the cake is already well baked or if it still needs a few minutes in the oven.
- The baked cake can be sugared, or wait until it cools down and then cover it with chocolate glaze.

- 200g of softened butter
- 4 eggs
- 250g of cottage cheese for baking
- 200g cane sugar
- 1 bag of baking powder
- Zest from 1 lemon
- Pinch of salt
- 80g of high-quality chocolate
Method
- First, preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Grease the mold with butter and sprinkle with flour.
- Put the butter and sugar in a bowl and beat until smooth. Then separate the whites from the yolks.
- Add the egg yolks to the whipped butter and sugar and beat thoroughly.
- Then add the cottage cheese and mix. You can also whip egg whites.
- Then add sifted flour with baking powder and lemon zest.
- Finally, stir in the chocolate pieces.
- Pour the resulting dough into the mold and bake for 45 minutes. Before baking, test with a toothpick whether the dough is ready.
- Leave the finished cake to cool, then turn it out of the mold and serve it sliced.

Cottage cheese bun with apples

Ingredients
- 250 g semi-coarse flour
- 1-2 apples
- 250g of cottage cheese in a tub
- 3 eggs
- 220g granulated sugar
- 200g of softened butter
- 1 vanilla sugar
- 1 baking powder
- Zest from 1 lemon
Method
- First, peel the apple and grate it coarsely. Separate the yolks from the whites.
- In a bowl, whisk the egg yolks with sugar, vanilla sugar and butter until frothy.
- Then add cottage cheese, grated apple (peeled), grated lemon peel and mix everything.
- In a separate bowl, mix the flour with the baking powder and then mix it into the curd mixture.
- Finally, beat the egg whites and mix into the dough.
- Pour the dough into a pre-greased and floured cake pan.
- Bake at 170°C for approx. 45-50 minutes.
- Leave the finished cake to cool, then turn it out of the mold and cut it.
