Ingredients:

  • DYB Poultry Seasoning
  • DYB Garlic and Herb Seasoning
  • Flour
  • Milk
  • Eggs
  • Chicken Quarters – Split

Directions:

First, set your deep fryer temp to the poultry setting and let it heat while your prepare your chicken.

Second, beat eggs (about 3 depending on how much chicken you’re frying).  Mix the DYB Garlic and Herb seasoning in with your beaten eggs and add a splash of milk.  Mix thoroughly.  In a separate plate mix flour and the DYB Poultry Seasoning.

Third, cut your chicken quarters into separate legs and thighs if they aren’t already split.

Fourth, dip chicken piece into egg mixture making sure that it is coated evenly.  Remove chicken from egg mixture and dip into flour mixture again being sure that the chicken is coated evenly.

Repeat the fourth step with each piece of chicken.  Place into deep fryer basket and fry for about 12-15 minutes depending on the size of your chicken.  Be sure not to crowd you basket with too many pieces of chicken as this will not let the chicken cook evenly and the skin won’t be as crispy.

Remove chicken from the deep fryer and place on a plate lined with paper towel to remove excess oil.  Salt the chicken as soon as you remove it from the fryer.

ENJOY!
