A few tips for the best grilled pork tenderloin

  • When you take the pork tenderloin out of the package, first dry it with a paper towel . It will help the seasoning stick to the meat.
  • It’s also a good idea to remove the silver skin , the connective tissue that doesn’t fall apart during grilling, before grilling. Use a sharp knife to insert the tip under the silver skin at one end of the doll and slowly guide the knife from one end of the doll to the other. While doing this, pull the silver skin off with your other hand. You may need to turn the doll over and do the same on the other side.
  • The best way to grill a doll is to set one part of the grill to high and the other to low . For a charcoal grill, stack the coals on one side of the grill and leave the other side empty. The high temperature part will be used for grilling with direct heating, the part with low temperature will be used for grilling with indirect heating.
  • Direct heat ensures a perfectly crispy crust and charring, while indirect heat cooks your doll evenly without burning.
  • The doll should be grilled for 15 to 20 minutes , depending on its thickness. The internal temperature of the meat should be 60 to 63°C in the thickest part.
