Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 1 pinch of lemon peel
- 0.5 cup of oil
- 2 tablespoons of rum
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2.5 cups of semi-coarse flour
- pinch of salt
- a cup of milk
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
Method
- Beat the eggs in milk.
- Mix the flour with baking powder, salt, vanilla and semolina sugar and lemon zest.
- Pour the milk and eggs into the loose mixture, add oil, rum and make a smooth dough.
- Pour the dough into a greased and floured mold.
- Place in an oven preheated to 180°C and bake for about 40-50 minutes.
- Remove the baked lamb from the oven and let the form cool.
- Only then do we turn out the mug lamb and cover it with chocolate or lemon glaze or just sugar it.

Bishop’s Easter lamb

- 2 cups semi-coarse flour
- 1 baking powder
- 1 cup of sugar

Method

Try this year’s popular cottage cheese dough, which everyone will like , because it is not dry at all.
Ingredients
- 250 g semi-coarse flour
- 3 eggs
- 250 g of low-fat cottage cheese
- 200 g of granulated sugar
- 1/2 bag of baking powder
- 250 g of softened butter
- 50 g of walnuts
- lemon peel
Method
- Beat the butter and cottage cheese well with eggs and sugar.
- Add sifted flour, baking powder, walnut kernels and lemon zest to the mixture.
- Grease the lamb mold and sprinkle with flour.
- Then fill the mold with the prepared dough and close it.
- Bake the lamb in a heated oven at 180°C for about 45-50 minutes.
- Immediately after removing the lamb from the oven, turn it over, sprinkle it with sugar and decorate it with a bow.

Sponge cake lamb for Easter
A classic version of the Easter lamb, which you can decorate after baking with either a light or dark glaze or a dusting of powdered sugar.
Ingredients
- 5 eggs
- 250 g of granulated sugar
- 125 g plain flour
- 125 g semi-coarse flour
- 1 tablespoon of baking powder
- 120 ml of sunflower oil
Method
- Preheat the oven to 200 °C.
- Beat the eggs into a whisk and beat them into a fluffy foam.
- Then add the sugar and continue beating for about three to four minutes.
- Pour in the oil and beat for a while.
- Mix the flour and baking powder and mix them into the sweet egg mixture in parts.
- Pour the mixed mixture into the lamb mold, which we have previously greased very thoroughly with oil and sprinkled with semi-coarse flour.
- Place the mold in the oven and bake for 15 minutes. Reduce the temperature to 180 °C and bake for another 30 minutes.
- Take the mold out of the oven.
- Let it cool completely, then carefully turn it out.

- 140 g of softened butter
- 200 g of granulated sugar
- 4 egg yolks
- 4 egg whites
- 100g ground walnuts
- 250 g plain flour
- 1 baking powder
- 1 vanilla sugar
- pinch of salt
- 100 ml of milk
- 50 g of raisins soaked overnight in rum
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- In a large bowl, beat the butter with the sugar and gradually add the egg yolks.
- Add the ground nuts, flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, milk, raisins and the rest of the rum and mix.
- Beat egg whites and a pinch of salt until stiff and carefully mix into the dough.
- Pour the batter into a greased and floured lamb tin.
- Bake for about 45 minutes, then remove from the oven and let cool a little. Carefully turn out of the mold and leave to cool completely.

There are a number of recipes for Easter lamb , most often they are prepared from breaded, sponge, leavened, whipped cream, custard. We decorate the baked and cooled lamb in different ways.
