Easy Crab Cakes

A delicious fish cake easily prepared with Do You Bake? Make it and Go Meatloaf Mix. A quick and easy way to bring a restaurant quality appetizer or meal right to your table.
- Prep Time : 15 minutes
- Cook Time : 8 - 10 minutes
- Yield : 8 - 10 crab cakes
Ingredients
- Crabmeat - 1/2 pound (or 2 cans)
- Do You Bake? Make it & Go Meatloaf - 1 box mix
- Eggs - 1 large
- Mayonnaise - 1/4 cup
- Oil - For frying
- Bell Pepper - 1/2, finely choppes
- Flour - 1 tablespoon
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together 3 Tablespoons Do You Bake? Make it an Go Meatloaf mix with bell pepper, crab meat, egg and mayonnaise.
- Shape into patties and dust / roll patties with remaining Make it and Go Meatloaf Mix to coat
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. When oil is hot, carefully place crab cakes, in batches, in pan and fry until browned, about 4 to 5 minutes.
- Carefully flip crab cakes and fry on other side until golden brown, about 4 minutes.

These crab cakes are delicious when served with Do You Bake? Dill Pickle Dip.
