  2. In the meantime, mix cream cheese and mayonnaise in a bowl, mix thoroughly, for example using a hand whisk.

An incredible number of variants of egg spread

Because of its ease and popularity, there are a huge number of variations of egg spread. In addition to cottage cheese or cream cheese, you can add butter, cottage cheese or ricotta to the spread as a base. If you prefer a healthier option, you can replace the mayonnaise with yogurt or sour cream.

From vegetables, in addition to stalked celery and onions, radishes, carrots or peppers can also be added to the spread.
