Why include salmon in your diet?
Salmon is considered one of the healthiest foods for our heart. The reason is primarily that it contains a large amount of so-called omega-3 fatty acids.
These acids have a very beneficial effect on our cardiovascular system. They significantly reduce the risk of heart arrhythmias and at the same time have the ability to dissolve dangerous cholesterol in our blood. For this reason as well, some doctors recommend eating salmon at least twice a week.
Baked salmon is of course not the only option to include this healthy delicacy in your diet, grilled, marinated or smoked salmon is also great.
Salmon with or without skin?
It can be said that it doesn’t matter. You can eat and prepare it both with and without the skin.
If for some reason you don’t like the skin, it’s better to remove it after baking, because during baking it releases fat, which not only gives your dish a better taste, but also contains a lot of health-promoting substances.
Last but not least, keep in mind that skinless meat falls apart more easily, which can make cooking more difficult.
