  • 1 and ¾ cup flour
  • ½ cup cane sugar
  • ¾ cup of butter
  • ½ teaspoon of salt

For the filling:

  • 450 g of fresh cream cheese
  • ½ cup of sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon of ground cloves

On a small scale:

  • ¾ cup semi-coarse flour
  • ¼ cup oatmeal
  • ½ cup cane sugar
  • ½ cup of butter

For the apple filling:

  • 2 apples
  • 2 tablespoons of cane sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • ⅛ teaspoon of ground cloves
  • ¼ cup chopped white chocolate


  • Beat the flour, sugar, butter and salt.
  • Place the ingredients for the cheese filling in a blender and blend until smooth.
  • Place the ingredients needed for the crumb in a blender and blend.
  • Peel the apples and cut them into small cubes.
  • Mix them with sugar, cinnamon and cloves.
  • Spread the dough on a 30×30 cm baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  • Pour the cream cheese over the dough, then the apples, and finally sprinkle the crumble and chopped white chocolate.
  • Bake at 180°C for about 50 minutes.

And what else to call these apple slices ? Luxurious . The combination of Hokkaido pumpkin and apples will leave you speechless.


  • 4 eggs
  • 1 and ⅔ cup of sugar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 280 g pumpkin compote (or fresh cooked pumpkin)
  • 2 cups semi-coarse flour
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons of cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 and ½ cups chopped apples

For the cream:

  • 450 g of fresh cream cheese
  • 1 cup softened butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract


  • Mix the eggs with sugar, oil, pumpkin and mix everything with a mixer.
  • Mix the dry ingredients – flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt.
  • Take 2 tablespoons of this dry mixture and mix it with the chopped apples.
  • Add the rest of the dry ingredients to the whipped mixture and mix thoroughly.
  • Finally, mix in the apples and pour the dough into a larger tray lined with baking paper (approx. 40×50 cm).
  • Leave the body to bake for about 30 minutes at 175 °C.

Preparation of the filling:

  • Whisk all the ingredients together into a smooth cream.
  • Spread the cream on the baked and cooled dough.
  • Divide the entire cake into 2 equal halves.
  • Place one of the halves on top of the other.
  • Garnish with chopped nuts (preferably walnuts or almonds) if desired.

You might think of Christmas for the first time in association with Linz dough. Another connection can be the word “our” or “traditional”. Maybe we can call them grandma ‘s apple slices .


  • 4 and ½ cups ground walnuts (455 g)
  • 3 cups plain flour
  • ½ teaspoon of ground cloves
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 285 g of chilled butter
  • 1 and ⅔ cup of sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • zest of 1 lemon

For the filling:

  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 cups apple jam

To finish:

  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon of water
  • ⅔ cup almond flakes (any)


  • Pour ½ cup walnuts and ½ cup flour into a blender and blend for about 15 seconds to blend the nuts.
  • Mix the rest of the flour, cinnamon, cloves and salt and mix together with the softened butter into a fine crumbly dough.
  • Add sugar and mixed nuts with flour.
  • On the side, mix the egg, yolk, lemon zest, beat and also add to the dough.
  • Shape the dough into a loaf and divide it into 2 halves.
  • Put one half of the dough into a baking paper-lined form (size approx. 22×30 cm) and spread it thin using your hands.
  • Bake this body in the oven at 200 °C for about 15 minutes.
  • While the body is baking, prepare the upper part of the body.
  • Between 2 layers of baking paper, roll out the dough to about 0.5 cm thick (it should also be about 2 cm larger than the size of the baking sheet).
  • Chill the rolled dough in the freezer for 20 minutes.
  • After cooling, cut it into slices about 1 cm wide.
  • Sprinkle finely mixed breadcrumbs on the finished body and spread with marmalade.
  • Decorate the top of the cuts with slices of chilled dough in the shape of a grid.
  • Brush with egg mixed with water and sprinkle with almonds (any).
  • Bake for another 45 minutes until golden.

Recipe for apple slices

These tender apple slices will delight you with their taste. They have everything that goes with apples – cinnamon, almonds, raisins and finally a delicious buttery pastry. What do you think about it?


On the corpus:

  • 200 g plain flour
  • 200 g semi-coarse flour
  • 70 g of sugar
  • 4 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 250 g of softened butter

For the apple filling:

  • 1 and ½ kg of apples
  • 100 g of sugar
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 30 g of raisins
  • 50 g of butter

For spreading:

  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tablespoon of milk
  • almond flakes


  • Peel the apples and cut them into small cubes.
  • Put them in a saucepan, add butter, raisins, half the amount of sugar, vanilla sugar, cinnamon and bring to a boil.
  • Sauté the apples until soft.
  • Let them cool, then sprinkle the rest of the sugar on them.

Preparing the dough:

  • Mix the flours with the baking powder, then add all the other ingredients.
  • Knead the dough and divide it into 2 halves.
  • On the baking paper, roll out one half of the dough the size of a baking sheet (it should be about 30×40 cm in size).
  • Put the dough on a baking sheet, add the apple mixture on top and roll the second part of the dough on top in the same way.
  • Brush the top of the slice with egg yolk mixed with milk and sprinkle with almond flakes.
  • Bake at 200°C for about 25 minutes.
