- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F
- Cut carrots into 1 1/2 - 2" lengths, then halve or quarter the pieces lengthwise so that all the carrots are in equal sized strips

- Transfer carrots to a sheet pan in 1 layer and roast in the oven for 35 - 40 minutes, until slightly browned and tender.
