Baked chicken breast with ham and cheese

This easy chicken with Black Forest ham and Swiss cheese takes just 30 minutes to make! A great and easy recipe with so much flavor!


  • 4 chicken breasts
  • ¼ cup mustard
  • 4 slices of Black Forest ham
  • 4 slices of Swiss cheese
  • ¼ cup bacon, crumbled, cooked
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, fresh, chopped


  • Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius.
  • Add the thinly sliced chicken breasts to the roasting pan.
  • Spread 1 tablespoon mustard on each chicken breast.
  • Place a slice of ham on top of each breast and fold it around the breast.
  • Put the sliced cheese on top of the ham.
  • Fold the cheese slices around the chicken breast.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-30 minutes or until the chicken breasts are done.
  • Garnish with crumbled bacon and chopped fresh parsley.

Baked pork chops

Crispy pork chops layered over creamy potatoes that are baked until perfectly tender. Make this easy dinner during a busy work week. Your whole family will enjoy!


For the pork chops:

  • 6 boneless pork chops
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil

For the gratin:

  • 300 ml of store-bought creamy mushroom soup
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 cup grated cheddar
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 80 g of fried onions
  • 200 g of thinly sliced potatoes


  • Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  • Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Season the pork chops with salt and then pan-fry for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden.
  • In a large bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, cheddar, sour cream and half of the fried onion.
  • Place the sliced potatoes in an even layer in the bottom of a 23 x 33 cm baking dish, then top with an even layer of pork chops.
  • Pour the mixture over the pork chops and cover with foil.
  • Bake for 30 minutes, then remove the foil, top with the remaining fried onions and bake, uncovered, for 10-15 minutes.
  • Enjoy it!

Meat balls filled with mozzarella

These ground beef balls are a great addition to, say, spaghetti. You can also serve them on their own as a wonderful appetizer at a party. Guests will be delighted!


  • 700 g of ground beef, 85-90% lean
  • 1/3 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons of water
  • 170 g of mozzarella cut into approx. centimeter cubes
  • 3 cups marinara sauce (homemade or store-bought), warmed
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • spray oil

For Homemade Marinara Sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 medium yellow onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
  • 800 g canned crushed tomatoes
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil or parsley, finely chopped


  • Preheat the oven to the grill function.
  • Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray it with oil.
  • Place beef, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, dried garlic, oregano, egg, and water in a bowl; mix until thoroughly combined.
  • You may need to add more water to get a smooth mixture.
  • Scoop out about 2 tablespoons of the meat mixture and roll it into a ball.
  • Press a cube of cheese into the meatball, making sure the meat completely surrounds the cheese.
  • Place the meatball on the baking sheet and repeat with the remaining meat and cheese.
  • Spray the tops of the meatballs with cooking oil.
  • Grill for 10 minutes or until the meatballs are done – do not overcook or the cheese filling may start to ooze.
  • Place the meatballs on a plate, pour over the marinara sauce, sprinkle with parsley and serve immediately.
  • To make homemade marinara sauce, place a saucepan over medium heat and add 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
  • Once the oil is hot, add the chopped onion and sauté, stirring frequently, until softened and golden (about 5 minutes).
  • Add the minced garlic and stir for 1 minute or until fragrant.
  • Stir in crushed tomatoes, 1/2 teaspoon oregano, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper.
  • Bring to a gentle boil, reduce heat and simmer, partially covered, for 15 minutes.
  • Finally, stir in 1 tablespoon of chopped fresh basil, then turn off the stove.
  • You are done!

Pork cutlet stuffed with cheese and prosciutto

You can easily prepare a luxurious breaded steak stuffed with cheese and ham at home using this simple recipe. Emmental cheese and prosciutto add an authentic flavor to the schnitzel, and since this version is quick to prepare, it’s the perfect dish to whip up any time during the work week.


  • 4 small pork chops from the pork leg, about 300 g in total
  • 4 slices of prosciutto
  • 50 g emmental, cut into slices
  • 4 tablespoons plain flour, seasoned
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 75 g of dry white breadcrumbs
  • oil


  • Place the slices of pork leg between sheets of parchment paper and flatten with a rolling pin or heavy pan until very thin (about ½ cm).
  • Place 1 slice of prosciutto on one slice of meat and top it with 2 slices of cheese.
  • Top with the second slice of prosciutto and then the second slice of meat.
  • Press the edges together to seal everything inside.
  • Repeat with the second cutlet.
  • Put the flour, eggs and breadcrumbs on separate plates.
  • Dust the chops with flour, dip in egg, then coat in breadcrumbs.
  • Repeat with the egg and breadcrumbs so you have a good layer of breadcrumbs.
  • Heat about 1 cm of oil in a large pan, then fry the steak for 3 minutes on each side until golden and crispy.

Roasted turkey breast with Chinese cabbage, tomatoes and cheese

This dish is for lovers of simple cuisine. Instead of potatoes and mayonnaise, tender Chinese cabbage, tomatoes and sour cream are used. The result is a hearty and juicy, but at the same time light meal that can be served for both dinner and lunch.


  • 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
  • ½ head of Chinese cabbage
  • salt, to taste
  • black pepper, to taste
  • 6 spoons of sour cream
  • 400 g of turkey breast
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tomato
  • 150 g of cheese


  • Preheat the oven to 190°C.
  • Grease the baking dish with vegetable oil.
  • Cut Chinese cabbage into 1-2 cm thick slices.
  • Put the cabbage in a baking dish, sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Spread half of the sour cream and stir in the mustard.
  • Cut the tomatoes into thin slices.
  • Grate the cheese coarsely.
  • Place the turkey on top of the cabbage, spread the remaining sour cream mixed with mustard and paprika, and place the tomatoes.
  • Place the dish in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  • Then sprinkle with cheese and bake for another 10 minutes.
  • Remove the turkey breast au gratin from the oven and serve immediately.
