Roasted almond butter
You can make this homemade almond butter with just four ingredients and it takes less than 30 minutes to make. Spread it on a sandwich or use it as a fruit dip.
What you will need
- 500 g of almonds
- 3 spoons of honey
- 1 and 1/2 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
- 1/8 teaspoon sea salt, or more to taste
Method
- Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted coconut oil, 3 tablespoons honey, and 1/8 teaspoon salt.
- Place the almonds in a blender, add the honey mixture and mix to coat the almonds evenly in the mixture.
- Spread the almonds in an even layer on a baking sheet lined with baking paper (scrape the excess honey from the bowl with a spatula and spread it on the almonds).
- Bake in the preheated oven for 14-15 minutes until golden, tossing the almonds halfway through.
- Let cool, about 20 minutes.
- Pour the almonds into a food processor.
- Blend until buttery, stopping every few minutes to scrape down the sides and bottom of the blender (processing time will vary by food processor model – 8 to 20 minutes).
- At the end of mixing, you can add a spoonful of honey and a pinch or two of salt as needed.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Hazelnut butter with cocoa
This vegan homemade hazelnut cocoa butter recipe takes nut butters to a whole new level! See for yourself.
What you will need
- 2 cups roasted hazelnuts
- 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
- ⅓ cup coconut sugar
- ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract
- ⅛ teaspoon of salt
Method
- Preheat the oven to 163°C.
- Put the grate in the center of the trou y.
- Spread the hazelnuts in a single layer on an ungreased baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- Bake in the oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the nuts are fragrant, the skins are brown, and they begin to split and crack.
- Shake the tray occasionally during baking.
- Wrap the warm hazelnuts in a clean towel for 5-10 minutes.
- Then wipe off the skins with a towel.
- Put the nuts prepared in this way into a food processor and mix at low speed until you have a smooth and creamy butter (about 5-10 minutes).
- You will need to scrape the sides of the bowl every few minutes or so.
- Add the rest of the ingredients.
- Blend for 30 seconds to combine.
- Do not over mix, the mixture may separate.
- Taste and sweeten if necessary.
- Pour the butter into sterile jars.
- Store at room temperature or in the refrigerator for up to one month.

Brazil nut butter
Try this soft Brazil nut butter, which will become your favorite breakfast or afternoon snack. Perfect for smoothies or sauces, but also for soups and salad dressings!
What you will need
- 1 cup Brazil nuts (unsalted, not roasted)
Method
- Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius.
- Spread the Brazil nuts on a tray lined with baking paper and bake for 5 minutes.
- In the food processor, blend the roasted Brazil nuts at intervals to keep the machine from overheating and the nuts from getting too hot (check about every 1 minute depending on your blender).
- This process will take 2 to 5 minutes depending on the performance of your machine.
- The result will be a smooth and creamy nut butter.
- Transfer the butter to an airtight or glass container and store in the refrigerator.

Make this delicious nut butter with 4 simple ingredients in 15 minutes! It is much tastier than store bought, cheaper and your whole family will love it.
What you will need
- 280 g of walnuts
- ½ teaspoon maple syrup
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon sea salt
Method
- Preheat the oven to 175°C.
- Spread the walnuts on the baking sheet in a single layer and bake for 7 minutes or until toasted – check often as they can burn quickly.
- You can also toast the walnuts in batches in a dry skillet over medium heat, stirring frequently.
- Pour the roasted walnuts into a food processor or blender and blend until smooth.
- You will need to scrape down the sides and bottom of the blender frequently.
- It will take about 7 minutes to work your way up to a thick nut butter.
- Then add the maple syrup, cinnamon and salt and mix to combine.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.

- 4 cups shelled peanuts
Method
- Preheat the oven to 175°C.
- Spread 4 cups of peanuts in a single layer on a large rimmed baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, stirring at least twice during baking.
- When the peanuts are fragrant and toasted, remove them from the oven and add them to a high-powered blender or food processor.
- Blend the peanuts until they are finely chopped.
- Process or blend on low speed for 1 minute, then stop the machine and scrape down the sides.
- The peanut butter will be dry and gritty.
- Blend again on low speed for 1 minute continuously, then stop the machine and scrape down the sides.
- You will start to get a lumpy paste.
- Blend a third time on low speed for another minute continuously, then stop the machine and scrape down the sides again.
- The peanut butter will be thick and grainy at this point.
- Blend a fourth time for 1 to 2 minutes or a little longer.
- The peanut butter should be creamy and smooth at this point.
- It will last for several weeks in a covered container in the fridge.
