Why include tuna in our diet?

It is generally known that fish meat is a very healthy source of protein. Fish meat provides us with a lot of omega-3 fatty acids. Popular sea fish here are salmon, mackerel, cod and even tuna.

When we look at it from a nutritional point of view, it is a very good source of protein and is therefore suitable for people who are involved in sports and exercise.

In addition to the already mentioned omega-3 fatty acids, it also contains omega-6 fatty acids. It also contains a large amount of vitamins such as vitamin A, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, thiamin, niacin and riboflavin. It also contains minerals such as potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, selenium and sodium.

The advantage of eating tuna lies in the fact that it has positive effects on the health of the heart, eyes, brain, skin and is beneficial in the fight against chronic inflammation. Some studies also claim that its consumption can reduce the risk of colon, kidney and breast cancer.
