Ingredients:
- 2 cups of oatmeal
- 3 and ¼ cups of water
- 2 medium bananas
To add flavor:
- peanut butter, nuts, fresh or dried fruit, chocolate, cocoa, cinnamon, maple syrup (your choice)
Method:
- Mash the bananas, add them to a pot of water and mix.
- Add the flakes and bring to a boil.
- Cook for about 10 minutes.
- Decorate according to your imagination.

Ingredients:
- 1 cup oatmeal
- 1 cup of milk

Method:

For the flakes:
- 1 teaspoon of olive oil
- ¼ teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 cup of fine rolled oats
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups of water
For the mushrooms:
- 1 tablespoon of oil
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- pinch of salt
On completion (any):
- egg, a piece of spring onion, soy sauce
Method:
Preparation of porridge:
- Heat a teaspoon of oil in a saucepan, fry the ginger and add the flakes. Saute them for a while, add salt and pepper, and then cover them with water.
- Bring to a boil and cook for about 3-4 minutes until the flakes soften (add water if necessary).
Preparation of mushrooms:
- Fry the mushrooms in hot oil until golden.
- Sprinkle with a pinch of salt.
- Mix the mash and mushrooms and it’s done.
- You can add poached eggs, spring onions and soy sauce.

Flakes on salt with egg and cheese

Ingredients for two servings:
For porridge:
- 1 teaspoon of oil
- 2-3 cloves of garlic
- 1 cup of fine oatmeal
- 2 cups of water
- ¼ cup grated cheddar
- 2 teaspoons chopped basil
For the eggs:
- 1 teaspoon of olive oil
- 2 eggs
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- salt and pepper
Method:
Preparation of porridge:
- Heat the oil, fry the pressed garlic in it and after 15 seconds add the flakes.
- Sauté the flakes for a few seconds, then cover them with water, salt and pepper.
- Bring the porridge to a boil and let it bubble for about 3-4 minutes.
- Alternatively, top up with water if needed.
- Before the end, add the cheese, basil and mix.
Preparation of eggs:
- Heat oil in a pan and make 2 ox eyes on it.
- Sprinkle them with salt, paprika and pepper.
- Serve them together with flaky porridge, feel free to cut the eggs into smaller pieces and mix.
