Raw food and raw candy

In a literal translation, raw means raw, so it is food that is not thermally processed. This diet is based on the idea that cooked food loses its valuable nutrients. For this reason, the temperature must not exceed 42 °C when preparing raw food. In addition to the label raw food, you can also come across the term living food or vegetarianism.

The principles of vegetarianism therefore mean not consuming any boiled, steamed, baked or fried foods. Recipes for raw candy are an example of this, as none of them involve putting the candy in the oven. The most common raw materials used in the preparation of raw sweets are mainly dates, almonds, nuts, seeds and various types of spices. Various dried fruits or honey can also be used.
