Cheese pudding with soft bechamel sauce
Are you a cheese lover? Try to prepare a tasty pudding from it, the preparation of which is not difficult at all. In addition, you only need a few simple ingredients for it.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 onion
- 80 g of butter
- 80 g plain flour
- 300 ml of milk
- 4 eggs
- 50 g diced ham
- 100 g of cheddar
- ground black pepper
- salt
- 1 tablespoon of oil
- 50 g Parmesan cheese
METHOD
- Finely chop the onion and let it vitrify in warm butter.
- Dust it with plain flour and fry it.
- While stirring constantly, gradually pour in the milk and bring to a boil.
- Cook until the mixture thickens.
- Then set aside and let it partially cool.
- Gradually mix the egg yolks, ham, cheddar, pepper and salt into the sauce.
- Beat the egg whites until stiff and mix it lightly into the cheese sauce.
- Grease the baking dish with oil and sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese.
- Pour over the cheese mixture and sprinkle with the remaining grated cheddar.
- Place in a heated oven and bake at 180°C for about 30 minutes.

Cheese pudding with spinach and millet
Try this healthy cheese pudding with fresh spinach and millet. The whole family will enjoy it!
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup millet
- 1 cup fresh spinach
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- chive
- sea salt
- olive oil
- 250 g of cheese (Eidam, Gouda, Mozzarella,…)
METHOD
- Let’s prepare the millet.
- Rinse them with hot water, then put them in a saucepan, cover with water.
- Cook for about 15 minutes until all the water has boiled off.
- In the meantime, beat the eggs, add thyme, a little salt and a sprig of finely chopped chives.
- After cooking, let the millet cool down for a few minutes while we prepare the spinach.
- Roughly chop the spinach leaves.
- Mix the millet in a bowl with the spinach and season with salt.
- Place the resulting mixture in an oiled baking dish and cover with beaten eggs and herbs.
- Bake at 190°C for 20 minutes.
- After twenty minutes, add grated cheese on top of the cake and bake for another 5 minutes.
- The pudding tastes really great with tomatoes or tomato salad.

- 3 eggs
- 4 rolls, older

This pudding is absolutely delicious thanks to the beaten egg yolks and whipped egg whites. Adding ham gives it another great taste.
INGREDIENTS
- 150 g Emmental cheese, cut into pieces
- 4 pieces of eggs
- 60 g plain flour
- 300 g of milk
- 80 g of butter
- 1 pinch of nutmeg, grated
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 pinch of pepper, ground
- 150 g sliced ham, diced
- 1 whipping cream, min. 30% fat
METHOD
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Place the cheese in the mixing bowl and grate for a few seconds.
- Transfer to a container and set aside.
- Put the egg yolks, flour, milk, butter, nutmeg, salt and pepper into the mixing bowl and mix for 3 minutes.
- Add cheese and cream and mix for another 10 seconds.
- Mix the ham and whipped egg whites into the mixture.
- Transfer the mixture into 6 buttered and floured pudding bowls.
- Place them in an oven preheated to 180°C and bake for 30-35 minutes.
- We serve immediately.

Cheese and leek pudding
This easy vegetarian savory cheese and leek pudding is great for warming up on cold winter days. In addition, it is not only tasty, but also healthy.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 medium leeks, sliced
- 400g wholemeal bread, cut into slices and then into triangles
- 150 g of cheddar cheese, grated
- 40 g of salted butter
- 600 ml of milk
- 3 medium eggs
- freshly ground black pepper
- ½ teaspoon of sea salt
METHOD
- Grease a 1.5 liter baking dish with a little butter.
- Melt the remaining butter in a pan and lightly fry the leeks for about five minutes until soft.
- Put a layer of bread on the bottom of the baking dish.
- Sprinkle half of the leek on top and sprinkle with half of the grated cheese.
- Place the remaining bread triangles on top and then the rest of the leeks.
- Beat the milk and eggs and season to taste.
- Pour evenly on top of the cake, then sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
- Let it stand for 20 to 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 170 °C.
- Bake the pudding for 30 to 35 minutes until puffed and golden.
