Is round or long grain rice better?
Rice is good for health, there is no doubt about it. It contains B vitamins, starch and is gluten-free. Although there are many types of rice, the most commonly used are definitely long-grain and round-grain.
In the case of the long grain, it is a universal and very popular type. It has thin grains and when cooked properly, it is not sticky at all.
The most popular long-grain rice is, in addition to the classic, basmati or jasmine rice. It is great for meat and vegetable dishes. Round grain is most suitable for risotto, porridge or increasingly popular sushi.
