  • 1 piece of meadow (cube)

  • First, thaw the salmon. Then steam it for about 8 minutes.
  • Salt and pepper the still warm salmon and drizzle with lemon juice.
  • After the fish has cooled down, mash it with a fork and add the meadow with cottage cheese.
  • Mix, taste and, if necessary, season with salt, pepper or lemon juice.

Canned salmon spread

The spread of salmon pickled in oil is also excellent. In this recipe, we use Alaskan cod ala salmon. Get inspired!


  • 1 package of cod ala salmon in oil
  • 1 small onion (can be spring)
  • 2 triangles of processed cheese
  • 3 spoons of spreading butter
  • 1 tablespoon of mustard
  • 3 spoons of mayonnaise
  • Ground pepper (optionally also salt)


  • Drain the oil from the cod ala salmon first.
  • Finely chop the onion and blend together with the melted salmon in a food processor (or grind in a meat grinder).
  • Add melted cheese, spread butter, mayonnaise and mustard.
  • Mix, taste and, if necessary, season with pepper or salt. Salt should not be necessary as the fish itself is salty enough.
  • You can leave the finished spread in the fridge or serve it immediately with fresh bread.

Smoked salmon spread

Do you have smoked salmon on hand? Great. You can conjure up an excellent salmon spread with it, which will make your ears swell!


  • 120g of smoked salmon
  • 250g of grass
  • Cream for softening (as needed)
  • Salt and ground pepper
  • Lemon juice


  • First, mix the smoked salmon with the herb in a bowl.
  • Add a little cream to get the desired consistency. If you want a fluffy spread, whip the cream until stiff beforehand.
  • Mix everything, taste and then season with salt and pepper. Or lemon juice.
  • Leave the finished spread in the refrigerator for at least half an hour. Then serve as you like it.

  • 100-125g smoked salmon (or normal)
  • 250 g of cottage cheese
  • 1/2 lime (or smaller lemon)
  • Bunch of dill
  • 1 spring onion
  • Salt and ground pepper


  • Shred the salmon with a fork and mix with the cottage cheese.
  • Drizzle with juice from 1/2 lime or lemon. Add chopped dill.
  • Finely chop the spring onion and add to the other ingredients.
  • Stir, taste and season with salt and pepper.
  • Serve with your favorite pastry. Keep refrigerated.

Salmon with mayonnaise and eggs

Excellent salmon spread with eggs for canapés or sandwiches. In addition to vegetarians, you will surely find something to everyone’s taste!


  • 100g of smoked salmon in oil
  • 100g of mayonnaise
  • 4 hard-boiled eggs
  • 2 tablespoons of plain yogurt
  • 50g of onion
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
  • Salt and ground pepper (pinch)


  • In a bowl, mash the salmon with a fork. Mix mayonnaise and plain yogurt.
  • Coarsely grate the hard-boiled eggs (12-15 minutes). Finely chop the onion.
  • Add the eggs and onions to the bowl with the salmon and sprinkle with lemon.
  • Finally, add salt and pepper to taste and mix.
  • Let it sit in the fridge for about half an hour and then serve.

Salmon spread with butter

  • 50-80g of smoked salmon
  • 3 hard-boiled eggs
  • 100g of butter
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 tablespoons of milk
  • Lemon juice
  • Salt, ground pepper


  • First, whip the butter into a foam. Hard-boil the eggs (12-15 minutes) and then grate them. Mix with butter.
  • Add the salmon and mash with a fork. Then add the chopped onion and 2 tablespoons of milk to the bowl.
  • Drizzle with lemon juice and mix.
  • Taste and season with salt and ground pepper if necessary.
  • Serve on canapés, sandwiches or just with fresh bread.
