  • Mix the dry mixture, then add the water with the oil.
  • Work out a stiff dough, roll it out and spread it evenly on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  • Cut the peeled potatoes into thin slices, about 2 millimeters.
  • Spread the sliced potatoes on the dough, 1 centimeter from the edge of the pie.
  • Mix a few spoonfuls of oil, pressed garlic, salt, pepper and rosemary leaves in a bowl and brush the whole cake with the well-mixed mixture.
  • Bake the prepared cake in an oven preheated to 180 °C for about ½ hour.

Savory puff pastry pie

A simple and very tasty cake that you can eat warm or cold. if you don’t have Balkan cheese, it doesn’t matter, it can be replaced with mozzarella.

You will need (for 5 servings):

  • 250 grams of puff pastry
  • 400 grams of zucchini
  • 400 grams of peeled fleshy tomatoes
  • 150 grams of Balkan cheese
  • 1 piece of older roll
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 pc beaten egg
  • Italian seasoning of your choice

Preparation process:

  • Cut the tomatoes, zucchini and garlic into fine slices.
  • Place the rolled out puff pastry on an ungreased baking sheet.
  • Sprinkle with breadcrumbs, drizzle with beaten egg and lightly sprinkle with spices.

  • Brush the edges of the cake with beaten egg and sprinkle with seeds such as sesame, poppy seeds, etc.
  • Bake with a load for about 10 minutes at a temperature of 180 °C, and finish baking for another 5 to 10 minutes without a load.
  • Roughly grate the cheese, cut the onion, herbs, ham or salami and pour the corn through a sieve.
  • Heat the milk in a saucepan, add the cream so that the liquid remains lukewarm.
  • Beat the eggs in a saucepan with milk, add salt, pepper and nutmeg and mix.
