Ground beef stew

If you love classic Hungarian goulash, then this recipe is perfect for you. Perfectly tasty, just rightly sharp and very delicious, this stew is exactly what you’ll want to keep coming back to. After all, fresh crusty bread is served as a side dish, and believe me, that is the best possible combination of flavors.

  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 450 g of lean ground beef
  • 200 g of pasta (leg, spindle, penne)
  • 1 kg of peeled tomatoes
  • 2 teaspoons ground sweet paprika
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • Salt
  • Ground black pepper

  • Put the olive oil in a pot, heat it over medium heat and add the ground beef.
  • Fry until the meat turns brown and releases juices.
  • Sprinkle diced onion and strained garlic.
  • Let it become vitrified, add chopped peeled tomatoes, salt and pepper.
  • Sprinkle with ground paprika, chili and add a little water.
  • Let it cook for about 20 minutes.
  • Finally, stir in the cooked pasta and mix thoroughly.
  • As soon as the pasta is warmed up, we can serve.

Tip: If someone would like the goulash to be a little more watery, just add water and thicken with a little flour. Then put the pasta instead of the mixture in a bowl and cover with goulash.

Tomatoes – why are they so popular and what do they contain?

We love tomatoes not only because of their delicious taste, but also because of their juiciness. I’m sure you’ll agree that it’s sometimes really hard to choose the best tomato. Sometimes we can come across a variety that is not the right nut and is not good for direct consumption or in dishes.

Nevertheless, it is still a popular fruit that we simply cannot do without. They contain important nutrients as well as fiber. They contribute to the cleansing of the organism and digestive tract.

What do tomatoes contain?

  • Antioxidant lycopene (red dye)
  • Vitamin E
  • B group vitamins
  • Vitamin C
  • Vitamin K
  • Potassium
  • Calcium
  • Magnesium
  • Phosphorus
  • Zinc

It should be noted that tomatoes help the immune system, improve vision, can stimulate the nervous system, help reduce cholesterol levels, but also work as an effective natural antibiotic.

A decoction of tomato nati even has an unmistakably positive effect on tired legs. This will be welcomed by anyone who is actually on their feet all day, whether when walking or standing all day, for example, behind the counter or at the cash register in a supermarket.
