Tomatoes – why are they so popular and what do they contain?
We love tomatoes not only because of their delicious taste, but also because of their juiciness. I’m sure you’ll agree that it’s sometimes really hard to choose the best tomato. Sometimes we can come across a variety that is not the right nut and is not good for direct consumption or in dishes.
Nevertheless, it is still a popular fruit that we simply cannot do without. They contain important nutrients as well as fiber. They contribute to the cleansing of the organism and digestive tract.
What do tomatoes contain?
- Antioxidant lycopene (red dye)
- Vitamin E
- B group vitamins
- Vitamin C
- Vitamin K
- Potassium
- Calcium
- Magnesium
- Phosphorus
- Zinc
It should be noted that tomatoes help the immune system, improve vision, can stimulate the nervous system, help reduce cholesterol levels, but also work as an effective natural antibiotic.
A decoction of tomato nati even has an unmistakably positive effect on tired legs. This will be welcomed by anyone who is actually on their feet all day, whether when walking or standing all day, for example, behind the counter or at the cash register in a supermarket.
