If you have a canning pot, simply preserve your cucumbers according to our instructions.

You will need

  • cucumbers
  • infusion
  • carrot, parsley, onion, dill
  • jar
  • canning pot with a thermometer

Preparation process

  • First, prepare the cucumbers – put them in a large container with water and clean them one by one.
  • Sterilize all canning jars properly.
  • Clean the carrot, parsley and onion and cut the vegetables into rounds, the onion into eighths.
  • Start stacking the cucumbers in the jars so that they fit as many as possible and can be easily pulled out of the jar.

You can easily prepare cucumbers for long-term storage in the oven, which you probably have at your disposal. Try our recipe!

You will need

  • cucumbers
  • infusion
  • vegetables – carrots, parsley, dill, onions
  • jar
  • deep tray with a tea towel

Preparation process

  • First, sterilize your canning jars.
  • Preheat your oven to 150 degrees.
  • Clean and wash the cucumbers thoroughly.

Pickled kvass

You will need

  • larger cucumbers
  • dill
  • vine leaves
  • horseradish leaves
  • cherry leaves
  • horseradish
  • 1 liter of water
  • 40 g of salt
  • large jars for loading cucumbers
  • classic canning jars

Preparation process

  • First, prepare the pickle – boil the water and salt and let it cool.
  • In the meantime, clean the cucumbers and cut the horseradish into rounds.
  • Put a cherry, horseradish and vine leaf and a stick of dill into a large jar that we have sterilized.
  • Put the cucumbers in a glass and intersperse them with horseradish and leaves with dill.
  • Finally, pour the prepared pickle.
  • We close the jars in such a way that the resulting gases get out – with a bag with a rubber band, a clean cloth or a lid.

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups cucumber juice
  • 7 cups of sugar
  • 1 cup of vinegar
  • 2 cups of pectin
  • seeds from a vanilla pod
