Strawberries and their antioxidant effect
Strawberries, or their pulp, contain almost 90% water and are very rich in fiber. Their red color is formed by anthocyanins, which are red dyes and belong to the natural antioxidants that protect our organism from stress.
Strawberries are a rich source of vitamin C. The daily recommended dose is already met after 150g of strawberries. They are also a source of vitamins A, K, E, as well as potassium and manganese.
Thanks to the fact that strawberries can neutralize the effects of free radicals, they are a means of preventing arteriosclerosis, which causes the deposition of cholesterol in the walls of the arteries and their gradual narrowing.
Thanks to its alkalizing effect, this beneficial fruit also supports the excretion of uric acid and is therefore recommended for gout and gouty arthritis.
Thanks to the rich content of vegetable fibers, they help the movement of stool across the intestines. They are therefore suitable for hemorrhoids, problems with fluids in the abdomen and liver diseases.
However, you must pay attention to the fact that they spoil quickly, so do not delay in consuming them too much. It stays fresher in the fridge.
