  • 1 kg of potatoes
  • salt
  • 200 g plain flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 120 g coarse semolina


  1. Boil the potatoes and wait for them to cool.
  2. Peel them dry and grate them finely
  3. Add the other ingredients, mix and form a dough
  4. Roll out 3 rolls, cut off slices, insert plums into them.
  5. Cook in boiling water, slowly, for about 20 minutes.

Plum dumplings from semolina porridge

Children simply love semolina porridge. Even adults often have a weakness for her and like to remember their carefree childhood. And how about making sweet dumplings from it?


  • 3/4 l of milk
  • 200 g of baby semolina
  • 1 egg
  • 500 g coarse flour
  • 2 spoons of powdered sugar
  • pinch of salt


  1. Cook the semolina porridge and let it cool.
  2. Mix the porridge with the rest of the ingredients, the result should be a non-sticky dough.
  3. Form the rolls, cut off the slices, wrap a plum in each one (if we want smaller dumplings, put only half a plum).
  4. Cook in boiling water for 5 minutes
  5. On a plate, you can cover the dumplings with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon.

Plum dumplings from cottage cheese dough

Thanks to the cottage cheese, these homemade plum dumplings are easily digestible and full of valuable protein.


  • 1 soft cottage cheese
  • 300 g semi-coarse flour
  • 1 egg
  • pinch of salt


  1. Mix cottage cheese, flour, eggs and salt into a soft dough.
  2. Make 3 to 4 cylinders from the dough.
  3. Cut slices from them, place a plum on each one and wrap carefully
  4. Cook for 8-10 minutes.

  • 500 g semi-coarse flour
  • 1 package of yeast
  • 250 ml of milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 spoon of sugar
  • pinch of salt

  • 250 g of butter
  • powdered sugar


  • Sift the flour into a bowl, make a hole in it and crumble the yeast into it, sprinkle with sugar and cover with three spoons of lukewarm milk
  • Let the yeast rise
  • Then pour the rest of the milk, add the egg and salt and mix into a smooth dough
  • Let it rise in a warm place for about an hour
  • Roll out the risen dough on a floured surface into a thicker sheet
  • Cut out circles from it
  • Wrap a plum in each and make a dumpling
  • Cook the dumplings in boiling salted water until they float to the surface
  • Melt the butter in a small saucepan
  • Sprinkle the finished dumplings with poppy seeds mixed with sugar and cover with butter

  • 500 g semi-coarse flour
  • 250 ml of milk
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • pinch of salt

  • Heat the milk in a saucepan and melt a spoonful of butter in it
  • Mix the flour with salt and cover with hot milk
  • Mix and cover with a lid, let it brew for ten minutes
