Do you know that cottage cheese noodles are very popular in Hungary? In addition, this recipe is made special by several other interesting ingredients, such as raisins or cornflakes.


  • 400 g of pasta
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 50 g of butter
  • 400 g of cottage cheese
  • 400 g sour cream
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons of vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1 cup cornflakes
  • 2 teaspoons of cinnamon


  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Melt the butter in a pan and grease a baking dish or baking pan with a little butter.
  3. Cook the pasta according to the instructions so that it is so-called al dente.
  4. Drain the cooked pasta and rinse with cold water.
  5. Then put the pasta in a bowl and add the rest of the melted butter, cottage cheese, sour cream, eggs, vanilla extract, raisins and half a cup of sugar.
  6. Mix everything thoroughly.
  7. In another bowl, crush the cornflakes and add the rest of the sugar and cinnamon.
  8. Carefully transfer the pasta mixture to the baking dish and smooth it with a spatula.
  9. Finally, sprinkle the pasta with a mixture of chips, cinnamon and sugar.
  10. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 45-50 minutes.

Baked sweet pasta with apples

The taste and aroma of apples and cinnamon make this dish an irresistible delicacy. Of course, you can also add a handful of nuts, almonds or pistachios. There are no limits to your imagination!


  • 500 g of pasta
  • 300 g of peeled and grated apples
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons of cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • salt


  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Cook the pasta according to the instructions.
  3. Meanwhile, in a large bowl, mix the beaten eggs, cinnamon, sugar and salt.
  4. Oil the baking dish or baking pan in which you want to prepare the pasta.
  5. Rinse the cooked pasta in cold water and let it drain.
  6. Add the pasta and grated apples to the bowl with the egg mixture.
  7. Mix everything thoroughly.
  8. Transfer the pasta mixture to a baking dish.
  9. Bake for approximately 45-50 minutes until golden.

Traditional noodles with poppy seeds

A popular dish that is loved not only by children, it has been a classic sweet dish for many decades. If you have more time, you can prepare your own homemade noodles.


  • 400 g wide noodles
  • 200 g of ground poppy seeds
  • 150g of powdered sugar
  • 50 g of butter


  1. Cook the noodles according to the instructions on the package.
  2. In the meantime, mix ground poppy seeds and powdered sugar in a bowl.
  3. After cooking the noodles, drain and place in the pan in which you previously melted the butter.
  4. Stir and cook for about 1-2 minutes.
  5. Turn off the heat, sprinkle with the poppy seed mixture and stir the mixture.

Of course, it is possible to sprinkle the noodles with poppy seeds after they are put on the plate, it depends on your personal preferences.

Sweet lasagna with strawberries

Do you like lasagna? Try replacing meat and vegetables with fruit this time, specifically fresh strawberries. You will see that you will not regret it!


  • 1 kg of fresh strawberries
  • 400 g of lasagna
  • 3 egg whites
  • 4 tablespoons of acacia honey
  • 2 tablespoons of almond slices
  • 2 vanilla pods
  • lemon balm


  1. Cook the lasagna according to the instructions.
  2. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  3. Mash two-thirds of the washed strawberries into a puree and mix with three spoons of acacia honey.
  4. Slice the rest of the strawberries.
  5. Wash the lemon balm leaves and cut them into small pieces.
  6. Scrape the seeds from the inside of the vanilla pods and add them to the strawberry puree.
  7. Place a layer of lasagna and strawberry puree alternately in a greased baking dish.
  8. Finally, sprinkle each layer with lemon balm and add a few sliced strawberries.
  9. Make the last layer of lasagna only.
  10. Place in the oven and bake for approximately 15-20 minutes.
  11. In the meantime, beat the egg whites until stiff, mix it with the rest of the acacia honey.
  12. Pour this mixture over the lasagna and bake at a temperature of 140°C for approximately 10-12 more minutes.

Serve this sweet strawberry pasta garnished with whipped cream and sliced almonds.

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup freshly cooked vanilla pudding
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 2-3 peaches
  • 150 g of raspberries
  • sliced almonds


  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons of butter


  1. Cook the noodles according to package directions until al dente.
  2. In the meantime, cook the vanilla pudding.
  3. After cooking the noodles, drain and rinse in cold water.
  4. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  5. Mix cottage cheese and sugar or maple syrup in a bowl.
  6. Then add eggs and sour cream.
  7. Mix the mixture thoroughly, or blend until smooth.
  8. Then add the prepared custard, vanilla extract, milk and a pinch of salt to the mixture.
  9. Mix everything thoroughly.
  10. Then add the cooked noodles to this mixture and mix again.
  11. Transfer half of the noodles to a greased baking dish.
  12. Add sliced peaches and raspberries to the noodles, reserving some of the fruit for decoration.
  13. Then cover the fruit in the baking dish with the other half of the noodles.
  14. Mix the breadcrumbs, cinnamon and melted butter in a small bowl and then pour this glaze over the noodles in the baking dish.
  15. Bake for approximately 50-60 minutes.

After the noodle casserole has cooled, serve it garnished with slices of almonds, peaches and raspberries.

Sweet spaghetti with cinnamon and almonds

  • 250 g spaghetti
  • 1 apple
  • 50 g of butter
  • 1/4 cup cane sugar
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • sliced almonds


  • 50 g of cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract


  1. Cook the spaghetti according to the instructions.
  2. Melt the butter in a pan over low heat.
  3. Add cane sugar and cinnamon.
  4. Mix everything thoroughly and set aside.
  5. For the frosting, beat the cream cheese, vanilla extract and milk in a bowl until smooth.
  6. Peel the apple and cut it into thin strips.
  7. Mix spaghetti and apple noodles in a bowl.
  8. Then add the prepared cinnamon dressing to the bowl.
  9. Mix everything thoroughly.

Serve the sweet pasta prepared in this way decorated with the glaze, which you apply using a pastry bag, and sliced almonds.

How to prepare sweet pasta in a healthier way?

If you want to make this dish a healthier option, there are several options. One of them is the replacement of sugar, which is one of the basic ingredients, for example with maple or agave syrup.

Another option to turn sweet pasta into a dish full of vitamins and minerals is fruit, nuts, almonds and pistachios. In addition to apples, you can also add dried fruit to pasta as such. Thanks to dried fruit, you can also reduce the amount of sugar you add to the dish.

Any fresh fruit can be used for decoration. In addition, the sweet pasta can also be eaten with various compotes, for example peach or apricot compote.
