French toast

If you love the classics of ham and cheese, try using these two favorite ingredients on French toast.

What will we need

  • 8 slices of white toasted bread
  • 4 spoons of mayonnaise
  • 300 g of mozzarella
  • salt to taste
  • ground black pepper
  • 220 g ham from the bone
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 tablespoons of butter


  1. Spread mayonnaise on individual slices of bread.
  2. Cut the mozzarella into rounds and spread them on 4 slices of bread.
  3. Spread the slices of ham on the mozzarella and cover with the second quarter of bread.
  4. Cut off the edges and crack the eggs into a bowl or a deeper one.
  5. Salt, pepper and whisk. We carefully wrap the prepared toasts in them from both sides.
  6. Melt the butter in a pan and fry the toasts on it.
  7. Serve while still warm. If you want, you can also sprinkle them with the finely chopped green part of spring onions.

Baked toasts are a quick and especially warm dinner that you can prepare in no time, and the whole family will enjoy. You can also use herbs from your own garden, or from the kitchen if you grow them at home.

What will we need

  • 6 slices of toasted bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons of sour cream (15%)
  • 1 teaspoon chopped chives
  • 1/2 teaspoon chopped parsley
  • 3 slices of ham
  • 50 g grated hard cheese
  • 1 clove of garlic


  1. Prepare a bowl and beat the eggs into it.
  2. Add sour cream, chopped ham, grated cheese and pressed garlic.
  3. Finally, sprinkle the herbs and mix.
  4. Spread the toasted bread in the baking pan and spread it with the finished mixture.
  5. Place in an oven preheated to 170°C and bake for approximately 15 minutes.
  6. The finished toasts can be sprinkled with additional chives or spring onions

  • 600 g of minced pork
  • 2 large onions
  • 4 hot peppers
  • Salt to taste
  • 3 – 4 cloves of garlic
  • 300 g of fine ketchup
  • 700 ml of vegetable broth (in a glass)

  • Slices of toasted bread (according to the number of diners)
  • grated cheese


  1. Pour a little oil into the pan, add the minced meat and fry vigorously.
  2. Then add salt, diced onion, sliced garlic and hot peppers.
  3. Let it fry a little and add ketchup and leek, which we will stew together.

Avocado toast

Avocado is a very popular food and especially full of health-promoting substances, so prepare this recipe for avocado toast!

What will we need

  • 4 slices of toasted bread
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • salt
  • ground four-color pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of roasted sesame seeds
  • 8 slices of salad cucumber
  • A handful of pomegranate seeds


  1. Put the avocado in a bowl and mash it with a fork.
  2. Add pressed garlic, freshly squeezed lemon juice, salt and pepper.
  3. Add roasted sesame seeds and mix.
  4. Toast the toasted breads in the toaster and spread the avocado mixture on them.
  5. Decorate each bread with slices of cucumber and grains of pomegranates or tomatoes.

What will we need

  • 500 g of lean pork belly
  • 250 g of onion
  • 500 g of peppers
  • 500 g of tomatoes
  • 1 small clove of garlic
  • 1 small hot pepper
  • salt

  1. Let’s cook the belly with the addition of hot pepper in the papiňák.
  2. Clean the peppers, tomatoes, onion and garlic, chop and salt everything and cook until soft.
  3. When the meat and vegetables are soft, grind everything together in a meat grinder to a paste.
  4. Then we add spices to it – pepper and paprika and, if necessary, add salt.
  5. Fill into glasses and sterilize for 1 and a quarter hours

Toasts and toasts are always served hot, immediately after preparation, because that is the only way they are crispy and good. For a better appearance and taste, we can decorate them with raw vegetables.

Zucchini mixture for toast

Zucchini toast is becoming more and more popular, especially among vegetarians. It is a great vegetable alternative to the classic tartare.

What will we need

  • 1 kg zucchini
  • 4 onions
  • garlic to taste
  • 110 ml of oil
  • salt to taste
  • sugar to taste
  • 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar
  • 400 g of tomato puree
  • 5 tablespoons of Worcestershire
  • chili spices


  1. Fry finely chopped onion in oil in a saucepan.
  2. Add the zucchini cut into rounds and simmer together.
  3. Season with garlic, spices and Worcestershire.
  4. As the zucchini is soft, we can serve the mixture spread on toast

How to make homemade toasted bread?

This super easy recipe will guide even the biggest beginners in the kitchen. It will be soft, tender, tall and perfect for making sandwiches.

What will we need

  • 240 ml of warm water
  • 60 ml of lukewarm whole milk
  • 7 g of yeast
  • 25 g granulated sugar
  • 60 g of butter, softened to room temperature
  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoons of salt
  • 400 g semi-coarse flour


  • In a bowl, whisk together warm water, warm milk, yeast and sugar.
  • Cover and let sit for 5 minutes.
  • Add butter, salt and 200 g of flour.
  • Knead for 30 seconds, then add the rest of the flour.
  • Knead until the dough comes together and pulls away from the sides of the bowl, about 2 minutes.
  • Lightly grease a large bowl with olive oil. Place the dough in a bowl and turn to coat all sides in oil.
  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a clean kitchen towel and let it rise in a warm environment for 1-2 hours until doubled in volume, about 2 hours.
  • When the dough is risen, punch it down to release the air.
  • Roll out the dough into a large rectangle and roll it into a log shape and place it in the prepared pan, baking dish or mold.
  • Cover the shaped loaf with plastic wrap or a clean kitchen towel.
  • Leave to rise again for about 1 hour.
  • Set the oven rack to a lower position and preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Bake for 30-34 minutes or until golden.
  • If you gently tap the loaf, it should sound hollow.
  • Remove from the oven and let the bread cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
