What can we substitute for lamb?
Minced meat mix: Minced beef and pork in a ratio of 80:20 is optimal for perfect taste, juiciness and perfect texture. Ground mix is easily available at any butcher shop. The fresher the meat, the more tender and tastier the biftekia will be.

Ground pork, turkey, chicken : These types of meat are leaner than lamb or beef, so you may want to add an extra tablespoon of olive oil to the ground meat mixture to keep the burgers from being dry.
