Mug pies are extremely popular because they are easy to make, taste fantastic and don’t require a scale. So why not make a bubble bath too!

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 pieces of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pc of baking powder
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 3 eggs
  • ½ cup of oil
  • cherries

  1. We prepare the dough by mixing the “dry” and “wet” ingredients.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour with granulated sugar, vanilla sugar and baking powder.
  3. In the second bowl, mix the eggs with milk and oil with a whisk.
  4. Then pour the wet mixture into the flour and mix a pliable dough.
  5. Line the tray with baking paper or coat it thoroughly with oil.
  6. Pour the dough onto a baking sheet, place pitted cherries on it and bake for about 30 minutes at a temperature of 170-180 degrees Celsius.
  7. If we have a lot of fruit, we can use a larger tray of approx. 30×40 cm.
  8. If we want a taller bubble, bake it on a smaller baking sheet and bake it longer so that it is properly baked.
  9. After baking, the puff pastry can be sprinkled with icing sugar, or add a dollop of whipped cream or ice cream and garnish with lemon balm.
