Why eat one yogurt a day?
We should eat one cup of plain yogurt to ensure the balance of our microbiome. It’s different for everyone, but we influence it in a positive way with a healthy diet.
Intestines benefit from foods that contain probiotics. The most important ones are found in fermented foods – dairy products and also in fermented vegetables.
According to the law, all fermented milk products must contain a certain amount of healthy bacteria throughout their shelf life. This means that immediately after production, the dairy product has more healthy bacteria than at the end of its shelf life.
It is therefore recommended to eat at least 100g of fermented milk product daily. However, it is necessary to add that the contained bacteria also need enough fiber to live. So don’t forget to consume plenty of vegetables, fruits and whole grains.
