Yogurt cake

Among the sweet yogurt recipes, I will include this fluffy cake. Like from grandma.


  • 4 egg yolks
  • 20 g of sugar
  • 40 g of vegetable oil
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 vanilla sugar
  • 80 g of yogurt
  • 80 g of flour
  • 4 egg whites
  • 50 g of sugar
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder


  • Beat the egg yolks with 20 g of sugar, vanilla sugar and salt to a white foam.
  • Add the oil in parts and whisk.
  • Then add yogurt and flour mixed with baking powder.
  • Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff.
  • When they are almost ready, we will whisk in the sugar a spoon at a time.
  • Carefully add to the rest of the dough.
  • Pour into a greased cake tin.
  • Bake at 180°C for 40-45 minutes.

Langoše made from yogurt and without leavening

Langoš, as you remember from your childhood from the stand by the pond.


  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 2 cups plain flour
  • 1/2 cup of plain yogurt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 42 g of yeast
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • salt
  • rapeseed oil
  • garlic
  • water
  • ketchup
  • grated cheese


  1. We create yeast by mixing lukewarm milk, a spoonful of sugar, a spoonful of plain flour and crushed yeast.
  2. Let it rise for 10 minutes.
  3. Mix plain flour, yogurt, a pinch of salt and soda in a bowl.
  4. Add yeast and make a dough.
  5. We make pancakes.
  6. Fry on hot oil on both sides.
  7. Mix the pressed garlic with a little water.
  8. Rub the langoustines with garlic.
  9. Cover with ketchup, sprinkle with cheese and serve.

Summer yogurt bun with fruit

A delicious bun with yogurt, which you prepare from the surplus of the summer fruit harvest.


  • 2 cups semi-coarse flour
  • 2 cups of white yogurt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 vanilla sugar
  • 1 baking powder
  • currants (but also other seasonal fruits)
  • 1 cup coarse flour
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 4 tablespoons of butter


  1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
  2. Beat eggs with semolina and vanilla sugar in a bowl.
  3. Stir in yogurt, semi-coarse flour and baking powder.
  4. Pour the dough onto the baking sheet.
  5. Top with currants.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix coarse flour and powdered sugar.
  7. Add melted butter and make a crumb.
  8. Sprinkle the currant layer with crumbs.
  9. Bake for approximately 40 minutes.

Recipe for mom’s cake with yogurt and fruit

A great yogurt recipe. Let yourself be intoxicated by the delicate taste of the dessert. You can enjoy it for breakfast, but also with your afternoon coffee.


  • 1 cup semi-coarse flour
  • 1 cup of white yogurt
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup sunflower oil
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • nectarines (but also other seasonal fruits)
  • 1 cup coarse flour
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 4 tablespoons of butter


  1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
  2. First we prepare the crumb.
  3. Mix coarse flour and powdered sugar in a bowl.
  4. Add melted butter and make a crumb.
  5. Mix the rest of the ingredients in a separate bowl and make a soft dough.
  6. Pour into a cake pan.
  7. Place the nectarine slices.
  8. Sprinkle with crumbs.
  9. Bake for approximately 30 minutes.

Tender chicken cutlets in yogurt

Another tip for a savory yogurt recipe. Cuttings that no one despises.

INGREDIENTS for two people

  • 2 chicken breast fillets
  • 1 cup of white yogurt
  • 1 pressed clove of garlic
  • rosemary
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 egg
  • breadcrumbs
  • rapeseed oil


  1. First, we prepare the yogurt marinade.
  2. Mix yogurt, egg, garlic and season with rosemary, salt and pepper.
  3. Put the meat in the marinade and leave it in the fridge overnight.
  4. The next day, we take out the cutlets and wrap them in breadcrumbs.
  5. Heat a pan with oil.
  6. Fry until golden on both sides.
  7. Served with boiled potatoes.
